When Lilly first came to Cedar Farm, we already had a dog here named Lilly and to solve the name problem, we added Sweet to this Lilly’s name. It was easy to come up with. Her name pretty much sums her up. She is a very sweet dog. She is young and exuberant. We believe that she is a mix of smooth fox terrier and lab. She is enjoying her youth and loves to play with her human and gets along well with the other dogs here. She is interested in cats. She probably thinks the would be fun to chase around. There is a small dachshund mix here that she really loves to chase around and tussle with.
Once she calms down from her “greet the folks” mode, she loves to have her belly rubbed and will flop at the drop of a hat if she thinks there is a belly rub forthcoming! She also has a quirk that I haven’t seen all that often. She likes to talk about her dinner! She will bark several times during the course of her kibble. I don’t think it’s food aggression expressing itself. I think she is just happy that it’s eating time!
She is smaller than the pictures would have you believe. She weighs just 32 pounds and is grown to her adult height.
She is sure to put a smile on your face with her comical expressions and fun-loving personality. She does great in her crate when her humans have to be at work or school or places where she can't go with them. For all occasions when possible, she is thrilled to tag along with her family and be a part of things. She is housebroken, spayed and microchipped and is up to date on all her shots. She is current on monthly parasite preventatives
