Ginger and Teddy (black) are the cutest bonded pair who are currently on medical hold. Ginger just wants to sleep and be loved. Teddy is still not a fan a human touch. He’s slowly getting better with me but my husband still can’t get close to him. Ginger and Teddy were being treated for bacterial hepatitis after bloodwork showed their liver values to be high. After two weeks of antibiotics they were rechecked. Unfortunately, their liver values we’re still high. Our veterinarian wants to recheck in six months and will decide what the next step needs to be. When they are ready for adoption they will need a special adopter willing to give Teddy the space he needs and also committed to their long term health care.
