My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is the cat you didn't think you wanted. Found abandoned on a roadside as a small kitten, his eyes were seriously damaged and had to be removed. HSLC dubbed him Daredevil, and after recovering from his surgery, offered him up for adoption. He was taken in by a kind human who provided him with his secret identity: Charlie. Unfortunately, after three years, Charlie's loving owner is no longer able to care for him.

Adopting a blind cat seems like a tall order, but this little guy is a champion. Aided by keen hearing and smell, as well as luxurious whiskers, he is an expert at learning his environment. He has no trouble finding his way to his food, litter box, and hideouts. He loves to play with his toys, kicking plastic balls and battling stuffed mice. Lean and nimble at eight pounds, he likes to demonstrate his agility by climbing and jumping -- often while on his way to sit on your lap! His fondness for snuggling is unrivaled, and he is not shy about showing affection.

Daredevil/Charlie is a unique cat that is easy to love and looking for his forever home. Charlie is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Check out his video above!

Charlie would do best in a quieter home. Probably without dogs. Older children would be best.
While he may not seem like the obvious first choice, once you meet him, you'll wonder why it took so long to find each other.
