IDGSR WELCOMES KODA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

This is Koda who is an 5 year old Male Golden German Shepherd.
Koda came to us from our local shelter, he'd been confiscated due to cruelty, 10 other dogs were taken off the property, Koda had a very frustrating and difficult previous life where his former owner cared little for how the dogs were taken care of. Therefore Koda who was neglected is now loving the creature comforts of living inside and have a comfortable bed and routine food and fresh water. He is very loving and sweet but could care less about being with or around other dogs, He's a loner type of guy. He is wanting a strong pack leader that will 'boss' him around, He loves being told what to do. He's a big lug, about a 100lb'er, it took two of us to lift him in the tub for his bath which he loved. He will benefit from an adopter who has strong leadership skills with their dogs. Because he's such a big guy and we do not know of his past with kids, he is no kids under 12 or he can be put up, when family or friends come over with kids for a visit. He also will need a fenced yard so he can have some freedom in a controlled area. No Cats or small dogs.

Since coming to the rescue, Koda has worked with a trainer and he will come with $3000 of advanced obedience training. He loves to show off for his family!

If you are interested in adopting KODA please apply at: https://www.idgsr.org/apply-to-adopt
