Marco West is a handsomely patterned cow kitty with a striking beauty mark on his nose. He loves to curl up next to you at night while you scratch his chin and then settle down to sleep. He also greatly prefers back rubs to being held, although he will tolerate being picked up for a short time. Marco is good with other cats and likes to romp and chase with them. When they are all tuckered out from play, he likes to curl up in a kitty pile with his friends for a refreshing nap. Marco's favorite toys are ball toys to chase, and catnip pillows he can toss around. This sweet and independent boy is no longer the hissy-spitty kitten he was when he arrived, but he can get overstimulated and lets you know with a little nip or swat. Marco needs an experienced adopter that can read his cues and know when to love on him and when to give him space. When he’s looking for you, he will chirp and call out to find you. He will do best in a calm home without young children or loud noises. Marco needs someone willing to give him some extra time and patience to let him settle in and really let his personality show. We believe with the right adopters, he will become a great furry friend.
Marco West came to us from a feral colony. He was 6 months old when we took him in so he has not socialized as well as a young kitten would. He was in danger at his current location and could not be returned.
Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.
