My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there!!

My name is Whitey :)

I was found by a nice person who is fostering my pups and I now until we can find our forever homes.
I had wandered up several times to this stranger's house. I was very thin and just so sad looking. The person began to put out food for me at the corner of the property and gradually got me to come to the porch so I could be petted. There's just something about a loving human's touch that instills a bit of trust.

For about 2 months, I started inching her way into the nice person's door and was given treats, but I was still so nervous I wouldn't stay long. After awhile, the home owner noticed I was pregnant. I was gone for a few days to have my pups in what I think might have been a horse lean-to.

Soon after, I went back to the homeowner. I was so thin from trying to feed my pups and myself. I was a pitiful site :( The homeowner, who is our angel ;) continued to feed me and gain my trust.

The homeowner soon saw my pups under the house where I told them to stay. They were brought food as well. Such a nice person! Of course, they were afraid at first but eventually learned to trust as I did.

We would love nothing more than to have our own families. Our foster parent can't keep us, but we sure do appreciate all the love and care we are receiving! Won't you come and adopt us pretty please???
