My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mozzarella the tuxedo king. He is a new arrival at the shelter. He was found by students near a college who thought because of his large size he was pregnant and called the cat Mama Mia. He went from door to door in the neighborhood crying trying to get inside. Luckily a student called her mom who is a big animal lover and made sure Mama was off the streets and safe until a shelter spot could be found. He waited a week to see if his former home was looking for him or was he left behind.
Mozzarella is ready to go now. He is a sweet cat that seems to accept other cats. Because he was a stray we do not know if there were children in his life before. His foster home for a week reports he was always gentle.

The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers and all visits to the Shelter must be scheduled in advance to ensure one of our volunteers is at the shelter to meet you. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125. Our kitten adoption fee (cats up to 6 months old) is $200 for a single kitten or $350 for a pair. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, testing for FeLV and spaying/neutering when old enough.
