Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buddy Lee is a 5-½ year old black tri mini Australian shepherd. He was surrendered to us by an individual that Buddy presented a fall risk to. He is super velcro and she was not in the greatest of health. She felt Buddy deserved a lot more than she could provide.
While Buddy Lee may be little in size, he is HUGE on charm. This pint-sized guy has a whole lotta love to give. Buddy Lee came into rescue a bit on the “heavy” side. While being in foster care, he has picked up his activity level and he is losing weight. He is such an incredibly happy guy and is enjoying all the new adventures!
His favorite things to do are going for walks and car rides, getting belly rubs and playing with squeaky toys. He loves to hang his head out of the car window and will sit with his face pressed against it, if the window is closed.
Buddy Lee gets along well with other dogs but isn’t an overly playful dog. He would ideally love to have ALL your attention and do perfectly fine as an only dog. He loves getting all the attention and gets a little competitive for squeaky toys.
Buddy is house trained and knows a few commands. He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines and is microchipped. He takes monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. Monthly heartworm prevention is required to adopt Buddy Lee.
Buddy Lee is taking an inexpensive medication (Keppra) for seizures but his seizures are very well controlled. His foster mom has not witnessed any since being in her home.
Buddy is being fostered in the Detroit, MI area.
