My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruthie is a loving young lady. She loves to play with toys, loves her walks, loves to face wrestle with her sister, and loves to crawl into your lap for some attention. She has been a good house guest - keeping off the counters, she is good at getting her business done outside, she is not destructive in general. But she is a typical puppy. She needs exercise, stimulation, and companionship, to continue the good behavior. She does have some separation anxiety and can be an escape artist to get to her people. She does not quite understand fetch – she is happy to run after the ball, she doesn’t always get it back to you. She does have a strong prey drive so cats are iffy. She was reported to be a fence jumper by the previous owners so doggy door should be used carefully. She is picky about female dogs. She wants to be in charge and she is learning to be OK with submissive females. She has not had issues with male dogs so far.
