Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This PERFECT malamute boy named Tika is an absolute perfect guy. I was lucky enough to be able to spend the morning yesterday with him. This 1-2 year old neutered boy, is absolutely fool proof. He in my opinion, is perfect. We took him to socialize him at a store yesterday and he went up to every person to greet each one with a tail wag, Even children. A tiny baby, he was even happy to let pet him, although, he wanted to jump to get closer to her. He rolled for tons of belly rubs. He seen two Jack Russells in a cart that he was convinced was there to play with him. They were not too fond of him nor was their owner. I think he scared her when he let out a big “WOO” at the dogs!
He mingled back at the rescue with my medium sized pit bull where they played together. He walked past the others and WANTED to play with them but unfortunately they didn’t want to play with him. They are not too dog friendly. We haven’t tested him with cats, so we are going to go with the side of caution and say no at this time.
He enjoyed showing off the commands he knows such as sit, stay, down, wait, come, heel, leave it and shake a paw.
We are looking for an experienced malamute person(s) to adopt this lovely boy. Someone that is quite active and can take him on lots of adventures. We absolutely NEED someone with a 6 foot fence for him otherwise he will climb it. Absolutely no electric fences for this boy please! If someone has another dog that’ll be a huge bonus for him.
