My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tulip, the charming girl with the adorable floppy ears! This lovable pup is in search of a new best friend after her previous owner could no longer care for her. If Tulip chooses you, she will be a loyal and devoted companion, workout buddy, security guard, and in-house entertainment all rolled into one.

Tulip is a gentle soul with a heart as big as her ears. She's incredibly affectionate and thrives on human companionship, making her a joy to have around the house. Whether it's snuggling up on the couch for a movie night or going for a hike in the great outdoors, Tulip is always up for an adventure as long as it means being by your side. She's well-mannered, obedient, and crate-trained, loving to relax in her crate after a good workout.

Tulip is a big fan of new squeaky toys, chasing balls, and running through sprinklers. Affectionate without being clingy, she enjoys being close to her person without always needing to be on top of them. Tulip gets along well with other dogs but prefers gradual introductions and takes her time getting to know them. She lives happily with a laid-back cat and has lived with kids, though she prefers those willing to respect her space.

Tulip is not a fan of being hugged tightly or restrained, so vet visits should be at a clinic that specializes in fear-free environments. She would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of love, attention, and exercise. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your life with endless love and joy, then look no further than Tulip. With an active owner and a supportive family, Tulip will thrive and show her love, growing into a beautiful and well-behaved dog. Are you ready to meet your new best friend? Come meet this sweet girl and see for yourself what a wonderful addition she would make to your family!

Additional adoption info

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.

Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.

Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.

Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
