My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MORTICIA

Munchkin/DSH | Age 2 years/ Female Spayed  | Accepting Applications for Adoption

Hi, My name is Morticia! I'm an about 2-year-old female munchkin/ domestic shorthair mix. I weigh roughly 7 lbs right now and won't grow anymore. I am spayed and fully vaccinated. I lived outside under my foster mom's house since I was born, so adjusting to living in a house is hard for me. Don't worry, I don't tear anything up or pee all over (I am fully box trained!!) but I am very fearful of people. I do love food though so my foster moms have been able to win me over with treats and food. So far I don't love to cuddle and haven't learned to show affection yet and have been so focused on helping care for my babies and grandbabies that I haven't started playing yet.

I have had at least one litter of kittens and 2 of them are available for adoption with me (Wednesday and Pugsley). Because I had my kittens so young I never got a chance to be a kitten myself. I am very skittish and haven't learned how to be a cat yet. I don't trust people very much yet, but I love the companionship of other cats. This being said my ideal home is one with another cat in it. If you don't already have a second cat and would consider adopting a companion cat for me, my daughter Pugsley is also available for adoption, as is her entire litter of babies, and Wednesday's litter as well. I haven't interacted very much with the dogs in my foster house, but my foster moms don't think a respectful dog would be a problem. I have not interacted with kids yet, but my foster moms think older kids who will respect my boundaries shouldn't be a problem.

Myself, my daughters, and all of their babies will all be indoor-only cats from now on, so if you are looking for indoor/outdoor cats or barn cats we aren't the best fit for you. If you are looking for an indoor-only cat to love and love you back from a distance, I'm your girl!

Morticia's Adoption Donation Fee is $125.  Morticia  is spayed, current on all vaccinations has received a wellness exam, and is microchipped.
