Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chloe is an energetic little gal! She is 9 pounds (still filling out) and is 9 1/2 years old. Chloe is a Bichon mix with Shih Tzu, that fits in well with her foster dogs. She has a confidence that is bigger than she is, but it seems to work well with adapting to new situations and people! She loves everyone she meets and greets people readily on walks and visitors to the house. She will relax into you with a trusting nature when held and reassured, if frightened.
Chloe loves to eat and is currently eating a mixed food with soft and softened kibble due to recent extractions—but she likes to chew toys and broken up dog biscuits. She is learning manners to leave others food bowls alone, but don’t leave it unattended for long or she can’t resist!! Chloe loves to sample all bites of proteins and treats. As a close companion in the kitchen—she will snag something dropped (a strawberry slice yesterday!) but will also leave it alone if told “no”.
Chloe is showing a playfulness with a new lamb toy and will fetch. She has “blitzed” occasionally in the yard and leapt a long way off the low deck—just for fun!! We take long walks daily—sometimes twice and she is always ready to go!! She would like to play more with her foster dogs—they are slower to adapt than she is! She loves to be near them and has made buddies, especially with one and they are often found laying together. Chloe needs another small dog already living in the home chosen for her. There are no exceptions to this.
Chloe was crated in the bedroom the first 2 nights—then let it be known she wanted to sleep on the bed with everyone else and has done great!! Sleeps thru the night. She is crated when left in the house alone, though out and about for short periods after walks.
Chloe is a sweet, gentle lady and would make a great companion and addition to the right household! On the list you need to provide would be attention, love, food and regular trips outside. Throw in toys and treats and you will have the sweetest times!
Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. Chloe needs another small dog already living in the home chosen for her. There are no exceptions to this. She is located in IN
