Why I need a new home

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Axel is a big, gentle giant. We hate to have to find him a new home but we have recently fallen on hard times and have nowhere to keep him. A family member has him right now, but he will be leaving for work out of state on Friday. We don’t have any other options at this point, and are really hoping to find him a good loving home as soon as s possible! He has heart worms and is on heart worm medication to kill them off which will need to continue onto his next home. Axel is great with children and loves everyone! He would be best in a home with female dogs only, as he is more of an alpha and doesn’t get along well with other male dogs. No real aggression towards them, just more of a frustration, but we wouldn’t want to risk it turning into anything more. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our sweet boy!
