My story

June Bug is ready for a family!

Junie LOVES to be around people and is the BIGGEST cuddle bug. She enjoys sunbathing in the backyard, walks, treats and belly rubs. She doesn’t fully understand the concept of toys yet but she loves rawhide bones! She’s is gentle and calm when indoors and a spunky explorer when she enters the backyard. She loves to chase shadows, squirrels and bugs! She would do best in a house with adults, older kids and no other pets. She has so much love to give and is just waiting for a home to open their hearts! Her temporary foster fell in love immediately and would have adopted her in a second had she not had 2 other large dogs.

House trained: she never had an accident with me and I could always tell when she needed to potty! But I never left her in the house alone.

Crate trained: Needs work. She was wonderful in her crate the first couple nights and then was not fond of it anymore... so I only put her in her crate when I wasn’t there for a very short time. And at night, made a pallet next to my bed where she didn’t make a peep and just stayed by the bed the entire night on her pallet.

Food aggressive: Not with people but advised to not feed in the same area as other pets
Leash trained: Yes
Energy level: Medium
Can be handled: Yes
Barker: I didn’t hear her bark until the 4th day I had her and she barked at my yard man from the window. But never heard a peep otherwise.
