Meet Wise Sage!!!

This is probably the smartest dog I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and one of the tiniest GSD’s I have met weighing in at 37lbs.

Sage is an absolute sweetheart and really needs a semi-experienced adopter who will give him a little time to bond with them. It won’t take long and he will really flourish once he has his own person/people.

Sage loves to play fetch. He loves to run and he loves toys. He can be a little protective of his toys. Nothing major.

Sage is very sensitive to aggressive/rough touch. He loves to be touched and petted gently, but he does not like rough pats, tugs or being picked up. He will let you know by acting like it is the end of the world, so please, only applicants that can respect Sage and let him be who he is.

He would love a family that he could be running buddy’s with and he would love a big yard that he could play in. He would do well if he can be the center of attention. Sage is loyal and deserves a forever family to spend the rest of his golden years being loved and kept safe.

Sage is currently in a foster home with two young boys that are very well behaved with dogs and their space. Sage has attached to the youngest boy, probably because they are the same size! Lol. There are also two resident male dogs whom he hasn’t bonded with yet. He may do best with a submissive female companion if any.
