Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dixie Louise! She is a beautiful Great Dane! She is a petite 120 pounds and full of love! She is a stage 10 clinger, a real Velcro dog. Her favorite place is in your lap. She loves to snuggle and will sleep in your bed, if you let her. She can be a real couch potato. Dixie is a sweetheart, but will need a few minutes to warm up to strangers. She plays well with other male dogs her size and loves children. She can be selective about female dogs and small dogs. She is very smart and crate/house trained! She is treat motivated and eager to please. She loves to play with stuffed animals, squeaky toys and chew her nylabones. Dixie will jump a 4 foot fence, so a yard with a tall privacy fence is recommended. She has had some trauma in her past and will be most comfortable as a home body. If you would like to meet this adorable girl and make her part of your family, please complete an application at www.FORrescue.net. Dixie Louise is located in Madison, Alabama. Friends of Rescue requires a home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.
