My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Solita the bonita! This sweet girl has human companion written all over her. She's too dignified to behave like a puppy or play with toys, and she won't be leading the pack into a canine revolution, or anywhere else, for that mattter. What she will be is your rock, steady and loyal and as true as the day is long. She loves puppies. This girl has been overlooked for over a year now. She is HW positive and on the slow kill method. We think she may have been used in a dog fight ring due to the scars on her head and face. She is not beautiful but she is so sweet and loyal.

Like many of us, she sports some extra pounds and a few scars. Look past that and you will see a beautiful soul who just wants to love and be loved.

Solita loves everyone, including kind, cats, ad other dogs. She's spayed, on a slow-kill treatment for heartworm, which her adoptor would need to continue with and up to date on her vaccines. She would not make the best companion for very small children due to her strength, but otherwise would make a great family dog
FUN FACT: she has the longest dog tongue I’ve ever seen 👅
