Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Third time is a CHARM! Or so I hoped.
I am back again - for the fourth time returning 18Nov 2023 through no fault of my own. My pet parents suddenly were faced with financial issues and could no longer care for me. My home for the year with them was not what I had hoped for...
Originally when I arrived for my adoption (24 July 2021) I was an AWESOME, SWEET gal that LOVED attention.
I was a VERY CLASSY CAT!
I was a FEARLESS, Social, Friendly, Playful gal who could be picked up and held.
You could even hold me on my back with my belly up - making sure you gave me a neck massage during this time. I would melt in your lap.
I would follow you around too. I would meow for you - I WANTED your attention.
Here at the Pet Center, I interacted with the other cats at the Pet Center. I would ventured into their cages to visit. After the Hello hiss, all was well.
BUT NOW..my year with my pet parents did not have any love for me....I WAS NOT hugged, WAS NOT picked up...I was ignored. I arrived here on 18 NOV 23 as a hissy, mean, angry cat complete with viper swipes with claws extended. How I changed in just a year. I want to be what I was before. I need your help...your time....your patience.
Have not been around children except for two adult boys. I can wager with my returning easy-going personality, we will get along with children... Best maybe with older kids than the younger ones. Sometimes the loud noises and fast movements of kids visiting the Pet Center startle me - I will scurry back in my room or jump to the top of the cat tree.
I am a young and active - still play. Make sure you tire me out before going to bed and make sure you leave me something to play with if you leave me alone for an extended period of time. I will get bored and search for something to do.
DOB = 5 June 2020
Monthly flea treatments due on the 1st.
I am microchipped.
Background:
NC ACO rescued me as a stray on 28 May 2021 and brought me to their shelter. Then I was sent to the Pet Adoption Center for adoption arriving on Saturday, 24 July 2021.
I was adopted 1 August then returned on 30 September 2021. My first family gave me a warm and loving home for over one month. They returned me because they are moving - and I was not joining them.
Then, on 3 November 2021 I was adopted. I had a great home. But....then two months later, on 8 January 2022, she had to return me. Mom received unexpected orders for training that will eventually take her to a ship - a place I cannot go.
So my first adoption lasted one month; the second lasted two months....you see where I am going with this? Next adoption is for KEEPS. Third time was to be the CHARM.....but that failed. It lasted for a year, it was not the best fit... Is any one out there that can be a loving, warm home and has LOADS of affection for me?
