My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This young at heart and chunky kitty loves to play! Zena is very affectionate and cuddly, and enjoys being brushed or even vacuumed. She is a character with a unique personality, and she makes her opinions known. Zena is looking for someone who will love her and accept her for who she truly is.

Zena unfortunately does not get along with other cats. As you can see, she is a bit overweight and will overeat if allowed. She also defecates next to the litterbox instead of inside of it. She has tried many kinds of litter and boxes, and been to the vet with no resolution to this problem. We believe she is averse to using it because of pain caused by being declawed. She does urinate in the box.
Because of all this, and her age, we are reducing her adoption fee in the hopes that someone will give her a loving home.

Zena is 10 years old, is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting her, please send us a message. A $25 rehoming fee does apply to help contribute to the costs of our rescue.
