My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cicada and Katydid
These 2 gorgeous bug-a-boos are ready for their forever home. These kitties were left to fend for themselves in the elements before coming to our rescue. Bee is the self-appointed guardian of the bunch. She is an absolutely beautiful Siamese kitten with a spicy attitude. Bee’s job in the wild was to make sure she kept the rest of her siblings safe, so she can be protective. She’s really adjusting to the cushy home life though, now that she is learning to trust her foster mom. Bee loves to play, be fed treats and now purrs on her foster mom’s lap. She’ll need someone willing to patiently earn her trust to keep the progress moving ahead. Bee’s shy brother, Cicada, is a long hair tuxedo cat. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. However, he still wants to hide behind Bee. While he avoids being picked up, he enjoys time on his foster mom’s lap being brushed. Cicada will also need someone willing to coax him out of his shell. Katydid (Katy) is the most playful of the bunch. She is a black tabby. So cute! While she wants to be shy, she just can’t help herself when there are toys to play with. She loves them all and will play seemingly endlessly with a toy on a string with her foster mom. Katy still resists being picked up, but once there she’s a purring machine.
All of them have received shots from the vet, been neutered/spayed, been microchipped and been tested for Felv/Fiv (negative). If you’d like to meet one of these kitties, please go to www.pettalesrescue.com and fill out an adoption application. Their adoption fee is $120 each.
