My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet sweet boy was found by one of our wonderful volunteers. Stoney was wandering a back road looking for food at an old vacant building. Most likely he was dumped. It is all way too common here in the south. Was given food and ate it all up like he hadn't eaten in days. He was covered in ticks, skinny, hungry, ear mites, and sadly had an at-home ear crop job done on him. :(( He was so very scared and sad upon intake, but now is the happiest boy ever! Despite his rough start in life, he always has a smile on his face! He is around 8 months old and weighs in at 41 lbs. Stoney is amazingly heartworm negative, has put on lots of weight, and is now ready to find him his forever home! Stoney is great with other dogs and never meets a stranger. Very good boy on lead and car rides. Such a friendly, loving, and fun pup. Stoney is going to make such an amazing family companion.

Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12 pm-2 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in the spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
