My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let us introduce Brownie. He is a fiercely loyal, loving, charming, silly, and sweet little guy. Because Brownie has been with us so long at the shelter he has come to see the adoption staff as his people. While very sweet and friendly Brownie has become weary of strangers and is not afraid to show it by establishing his boundaries with a bark or tough stance. This is a case where we need his potential adopters to understand a few key things, #1 being: He needs many meetings with his person to feel comfortable/establish trust. Because he is a loyal guy Brownie MUST go to a one-person home with limited human-chaos (such as frequent/many visitors) He does enjoy the company of other small dogs (with proper meet n greets/time to adjust) and doesn`t seem to mind cats. If you are serious about putting in the time and effort into this little guy, please reach out to the shelter to discuss further details with the adoption staff. 508-867-5525 or email at Adoptions@secondchanceanimals.org
