My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is one cute gal who came to Helping Hands Basset Rescue after being purchased from a puppy mill. Her new owners realized quickly Rosie was in great need of veterinary care as a result of the conditions at the breeder's facility.

Rosie is between 1 and 2 years old, 40 pounds, up to date on her shots, spayed, and microchipped. She is full of personality and very friendly. Rosie has never met a stranger, and - although she can be shy at first - she loves all the attention she can get.

Rosie's poor living conditions lead her to contract heartworms and intestinal worms for which she is currently receiving treatment. However, in a matter of days Rosie will be ready for a new, forever home.
