Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joy is a gorgeous 9 year old German Shepard mix about 45 lbs. Her black and tan coat is sooo soft – just give her a rub and you will see. Joy is very friendly with other dogs, is crate trained, and will even go right in her crate after being let out to potty if you throw a treat in there for her. She does well on a leash, sits down in the car, gets along with other dogs. She has lots of energy and loves to play in the yard. Joy is quiet-doesn't bark a lot even when other dogs around her are excitedly talking around her. If you are interested in helping an old timer out, please contact the lovely ladies and complete an application.
All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kenneled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel.
