Here's what the humans have to say about me:
.
PURRSONALITY: Roji is a sweet and affectionate girl who will greet you each morning and be waiting eagerly when you arrive home. She is playful and loving and enjoys the company of other cat-friendly felines. Roji is startled by sudden movements and loud noises. For this reason, we believe she will do best in a quiet, adult-only home. Roji enjoys human companionship and attention. She likes to play together with wand toys with feathers. Pets and snuggles are purrfectly fine.... but she does not like to be picked up and needs a family respectful of that and happy to accept her as she is.
RESCUE STORY: Roji was a community kitty who was TNR'd and looked after by a good citizen. Roji became comfortable with her caregiver and continued coming around for food and pets. Eventually, Roji claimed the patio for herself. When it came time for the caregiver to move, she worried about what would become of Roji. Would she be fed? Would she be welcome on the patio by the new occupants? Would she be safe? Rather than take the risk, she decided to move Roji with her, ultimately bringing her inside to help her acclimate to the life of a house cat. Roji has blossomed over the past few months. We are extremely proud of her and feel that she is ready to begin searching for a family of her own.
MEDICAL: Roji is spayed. This was initially performed as a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) and because of that, she is ear-tipped. It's very subtle and does not cause her pain or affect her hearing. Roji is current on vaccinations. Her FIV/FeLV tests returned negative. Her fecal test (for parasites) is also negative.
