My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you like to play with tennis balls, rubber balls, really any kind of rolling, bouncing ball? You do, me too!!! By the way, my name is Coconut. I'm a 2.5 year-old girl and I am still a bit puppyish, but I have some good manners. I don't steal or even beg for food, in fact I'm not really into treats or snacks. I do like to eat my yummy food though. I don't chew on anything, well except my toy balls, duh! I leave shoes, furniture and everything else just as it is, isn't that good of me? I have a little hard time with outside and leashes though. My foster mom lets me see and sniff the leash before she gently puts it on, I like that. I like walks in the morning and in the evening and I'm learning to do my duties while I'm out of these walks. Otherwise, I don't prefer to hang out in the yard with my people, just do what I need to and go back inside. Oh, my foster mom says I'm soooo good on walks as I don't pull or bark at other dogs or people. I may stop and observe them as I'm curious about what in the world they are doing? I walk really well with my foster sister and a stroller too. I had two sisters and now my foster sister but I'm thinking it might be nice to have all the toy balls and attention to myself for a while. Let's talk about nighttime. Sometimes I get busy playing with my ball and I need "lights out" to remember it's bedtime! Then I settle down and sleep through the night. I don't snore or whine, and I don't get up until my foster family does, so they think that is considerate of me. I sleep in my dog bed but I would probably like to sleep in your bed if you are a cuddler. As far as grooming goes, apparently, I need my eyes and nose wrinkle wiped on the daily. I do tolerate it. I love to get pets and give kisses and if I'm really excited I might even give you a little gentle puppy nibble - eat you up I love you so! Do you have kids? I love my foster brothers so much! I lick the little one's feet and get excited around him but I am as gentle as a bulldog can be. I love it when the big one plays soccer with a tennis ball with me, wow, is that fun! I'm still a bit timid and figuring out my new house and routine but I sure do have a lot of love to give and I'm starting to learning new things. My foster mom says I'm smart and so pretty with my petite frame, lilac coat and green eyes. Well, that's me so far! I guess I'm going to the vet in the end of July so see just how healthy I am! Oh, gotta go, emergency, there is a ball stuck under the couch! I know, I will do my little "help" bark and someone will surely rescue it, bye!
