Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ranger is 110lbs of love and loyalty! He is a good boy ready for his new life and forever home. In true German Shepherd fashion, he keeps a watchful eye on his people to make sure they are safe. He always looks back while walking to make sure we are there too. So protective and handsome!
Before Ranger came to us, he was sadly kept in a crate for most of his days and didn’t get the love and attention he deserves. He also had an untreated skin allergy for two years and is currently on medication for treatment. His fur is returning nicely, but unfortunately he may have a few areas of permanent scarring.
Ranger loves to run and go on walks. It appears he received training in the past and will sit when asked during a walk. A refresher of his training would do him well and he takes treats very nicely and wants to please. He just needs a reminder of what good manners are!
Ranger is a big guy and would do best in a home without young children. He can have some anxiety from time to time and would do better in a calm home environment. German shepherd experience is preferred and he must be the only dog in the home. A fence would also be awesome for him!
