Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the young, Auss-some Kenny! Kenny is a handsome Aussie/Rottweiler/Boxer mix. He is just 7 months old. He is a smart and loyal dog who prefers being with people. He will go willingly and happily and stay in his crate when needed. Kenny is 100% housebroken and sleeps all night in his crate. He is not an alert barker and only barks when he sees something unfamiliar (i.e. new object in his yard.
Kenny knows several commands: sit, down, stay, come, place, and shake. He also will “sit” and “wait” at the door until you say “okay” to release him to go through the door. He has successfully completed formal dog training. Kenny has lots of puzzles and toys he enjoys and is particularly fond of squeaky toys and tough toys for chewing. In true aussie fashion, he is wicked smart and can complete his puzzles quickly.
Being a puppy, he has a lot of energy. He enjoys being outdoors and running in the yard. He likes fetch, but is still working on giving the ball back. He does great on walks with his gentle leader. Since Kenny is part Australian Shepherd, he does like to chase the resident cat. He has been gentle with the cat once meeting, but a home with a dog-savvy cat is recommended. Kenny does well with other dogs. Kids over 10 years are recommended due to his size and age.
Kenny is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He has a large crate and a cooling bed (his “place”). He requires monthly prevention for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
Kenny is being fostered in Kansas City, MO.
