Yes behold your eyes on our amazing rescue older gent, we absolutely woofin love Copperbear more like an amazing papa bear.Mr Copperbear was an owner surrender unfortunately his family was tired of him and had no use for him which is confusing to us but extremely rewarding for his new family!!Copperbear is 7 to 8 years old, roughly 90 pounds, large dog and our vet recommends losing weight and the four letter word we all hate DIET, Copperbear doesn't agree of course but he needs to lose weight as he has arthritis in his knees and his SI joints.. (already has lost 30 lbs.) We started Copperbear on Carprofen, and a joint supplement. We already did xrays on his hips and knees and no hip dysplasia at all just arthritis in his knees and SI joints. Our vet believes with some weight loss he will add tremendous value to his life! Copperbear is perfection, great with dogs, chases cats, loves kids, very easy going and gentle and of course has a love affair with food :)We would like to see Copperbear go to a retired couple or someone who is home most of the time as he loves to be with his peeps and be involved in all you do and don't do cause he loves a few naps and don't tell him I said this but he is a little needy but in an excellent way!! Copperbear loves to ride in the truck with me everywhere I go and he is a great co-pilot. Copperbear loves to snuggle on the couch or lay beside you and get attention and love. Copperbear loves our kiddie pool also so has had a hair cut for the summer. Please let Copperbear join your family and add his tremendous amount of love to your home. Please contact us for any questions. We are looking for a local adoption because of his arthritis issues and need for weight loss. Copperbear was on diet dog food but refused to eat it... lol so he is now on Rachel Ray dog food and rice along with a powder joint supplement that hs made a huge difference which there are many brands but at a normal amount each day. Copperbear would love to sleep in bed with you but our bed is too high for him to get into so he sleeps on the love seat in our bedroom. Please give Copperbear a chance and he will bring joy and love to your life and home.
