Don’t let Ginger’s grumpy face fool you, he’s an absolute sweetheart!
This lil man and his brother mischief were picked up in Ocala after being contacted by a realtor that had the house they lived at sold and the new owners didn’t want them outside. No other rescue would help, so we took them in and got them vetted!
Ginger is definitely more shy, but once he warms up (which could take awhile) he will be your best friend! I don’t see him being a lap cat, but he will sit next to you and loves being petted!

I do everything I can to ensure they're going to the best home for them. We all review the application and if we have any doubts we don't follow through with that adopter to ensure we're keeping them safe

Our rescue is run at our house in Cat Shacks. Appointments must be made in order to come see the cats. Any adoption events that we will be attending will be posted to our Facebook page.

More about this rescue

We are a small cat based rescue in chiefland, FL however we take in urgent dogs as well when needed. When I moved back to Florida from Michigan last year I was quickly reminded of how different it is here. The strays running wild everywhere, people abandoning their animals, adopting out sick cats, not helping the hurt ones. It breaks my heart. I have the finances to help now, so I'm doing everything I can to give these cats the life they deserved the first time around.
