Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I’m a distinguished senior dressed in a dapper tuxedo. I'm no silent film star, but I do enjoy a quiet afternoon nap. I allow picking up for brief cuddles when I’m in the mood. Food is my favorite pastime, & I'm always up for a tasty treat (I’ll swat other cats away from my food bowl). My large size means there's more of me to love. My person died but I’ll adore anyone who feeds me well. Once settled in, I’ll rub on your ankles to express my love & appreciation for feeding me.
Charlie tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is neutered. microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP.
Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application and to discuss if he is a good fit for your home. Once approved, we can meet you at the College Station Petsmart on University to complete the adoption. Charlie Chaplin can be a challenge to get into a carrier so he does not usually attend adoption events unless specially requested.

More about this rescue
We target companion animals least likely to be spayed/neutered - stray cats - and help them get fixed so they do not contribute to pet overpopulation. Sometimes some of the cats we help cannot safely be returned to where they were found - for example they are sick or injured or multiple cats have been run over in the area. We rescue these cats, get them well, and find them safe, indoor homes. We rely on private donations and adoption fees to fund our program. We almost always spend more on vet care than the adoption fees we charge.
