These two are a bonded pair and need to stay together. They keep each other entertained all day playing and then snuggle together all night. They are small in stature for beagles so the two of them basically make up one dog. And really, two dogs are always better than one!
Captain – estimated to be 5 but may be younger, about 20lbs
Captain is a funny, sweet, energetic, handsome little man. He generally spends all day wrestling with Tennille and all-night snuggling with his beagle sisters or his humans. He gets very excited to go on walks; however, he is very vocal when he catches the trail of something or when he sees bicycles – his sworn enemies. He is very smart and a quick learner, especially when food is used as a reward. Captain is pretty brave and is not scared of most sounds including thunder and fireworks. In true beagle fashion, he loves to go on “walk abouts” so he needs to be watched around open doors and gates. IMPORTANT: Captain does have a seizure disorder and takes medicine twice a day every day with a cost of $30 a month. He will need this medication his entire life to control his seizures. He has not had a seizure since starting the medication.
