Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mickey is a well-behaved elder who loves to snuggle. While he is generally laid-back, he gets super excited when he sees his harness and leash. His earlier years are a mystery. In late 2015 he was adapted from the Marion County dog shelter by a loving senior couple. (The shelter guesstimated he was born in 2007.) Mickey was lovingly cared for with regular vet checkups. While he is mostly deaf and has cloudy eyes (lenticular sclerosis), Mickey gets around extremely well. When his “mom” had to go to an assisted living home, Mickey was her greatest concern. My lease agreement forbids pets but it brought her such joy to see him, he adapted me so he could visit her. Sadly, she passed recently and I must find him a new home (before my landlord discovers him living here!)
