Here's what the humans have to say about me:
In Ashland, MO
Hi everyone, My name is Boone. I am originally from a Texas puppy mill but the folks at ASF helped get me to a really nice place. I used to be a handsome, suave, debonair stud dog for a southern breeder. My stud days are over and I am slowly learning how to be a typical dog.
I was the best-looking black tri Australian shepherd on the block. I am about 5 years old right now. Based on my past, I do lack a little socialization but my foster Mom is teaching me so many new things: walks, toys, bones, and what soft bedding is. Who knew this existed? WOW! I’m telling you this is the life I deserve.
I will need a very patient adopter who will help me continue learning what it’s like to be a typical dog. I am a really good boy with other dogs and even those persnickety kitties in my foster home. I am slowly starting to feel comfortable and show more of my personality. I like enjoying my foster Mom’s fully fenced yard so I think I’d like to have one of those in my new home too.
I have been doing well for housetraining and I am even learning a few house manners and commands. I would like someone that can continue teaching me those things because it makes my foster Mom feel good.
They removed my manhood a few months ago and told me it was a good thing. I also got a bunch of shots so they say I am updated on all my “vaccines”, whatever that means. I also take tasty pills to ward off any heartworms and those nasty fleas and ticks. I have a microchip too.
I am being fostered in the Columbia, Missouri area. If you’d like to meet me, have your people contact my people.
