My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stormy is a lively little girl, approximately 3 years old and full of vibrant energy. An active lifestyle is a must for this sweet girl. She would definitely prefer to be an an exclusive fur child with no other dog to share your affection with. She has energy to spare so a family with older kids who can keep her entertained would be ideal. She is the perfect size to take along anywhere you go! Need a hiking or camping buddy? Look no further! Trying to keep up the quarantine quads? She will keep you on your toes! We have high hopes for this diamond in the rough. With patience, love and a consistent training schedule, she is sure to shine!

More about this rescue

It all began late one evening when Meredith, founder of LCAR, watched John, co-founder, pull into the driveway with an unexpected passenger. There she sat in the front seat, as tall as she could possibly get, so she could look out over the dashboard. It was love at first sight. That’s when Roxy went home with Meredith and John, becoming the first of many, many rescued dogs, cats, and horses that were yet to find their way home to the ranch.

Lucky arrived soon after. She and Roxy were thick as thieves from day one and roamed the ranch as if they owned the place. Well, they did actually own the place!

Several dogs have shown up on the property since then, appearing as if out of thin air. They must have heard of the ranch being the place to be if you had no place left to go.
