My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cleo may well be the perfect dog. She is loving, loyal, smart, and well-behaved. Cleo is a 5 year old 49 lb Australian shepherd/ border collie mix. She is athletic and super smart like a border collie but calm and loyal like an Australian shepherd. Cleo is not ball crazy and just as content to be running around and playing as she is to be laying next to her person. She is an owner-surrender who is now being fostered in Monterey, CA. She bonded very quickly with her foster and is thriving in a loving environment with good food, exercise, and the other dogs that live in the home. She is good with people and kids, crate-trained, house-trained, good with dogs and cats, sleeps through the night, and walks beautiful both on and off leash. She will stay right by your side and constantly check in. She only knew a handful of commands but in only two weeks with a foster she has learned several more and is extremely quick to pick up new commands and obey. She wants to please and will be an amazing best friend to whoever is lucky enough to adopt her! Cleo is up to date on all her vaccinations, has been spayed, and examined by a vet who said she is in excellent health. She is ready for her forever home!
