Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shy is a beautiful and very sweet 1 yr old tan and white Pit Mix. She is precious beyond words. Shy loves people and children.
Each animal in the care of PAWS OH has their own story to tell of why they are in a rescue organization and here is Shy's sad story:
Over the last month, Shy has endured extreme pain and discomfort ending with a major surgery and she is now recuperating beautifully and ready to be adopted into a loving, forever home. Shy was brought into an animal clinic by her former owner with a puppy stuck in her birth canal. She could not eat nor urinate. This poor dog was in bad shape. The owner could not afford to the emergency surgery that Shy needed to save her life and thought his only option was to euthanize this sweet girl. The owner of the veterinarian practice offered to have Shy's owner surrender her into our care, and was able to perform the emergency life saving surgery to get the babies out. While unfortunately, the babies did not make it, Shy is healing and doing very well. Even though a bit shy, she is WONDERFUL with people and even children.
If you are interested in giving Shy a wonderful new life in your loving home, please go to www.pawsohio.org and complete an adoption application. Thank you!
