This little Sassafras is super cute, petite, sweet and ready for her furever home! Psyche is a sassy little red heeler who is about 3 years old. She is a playful little cuddle bug, but can be timid at times. She is great with other dogs, and loves to snuggle on the couch. She is crate trained, but prefers to be where you are, in true heeler fashion! She is smart and would make a great addition to any home. She just wants to be loved and find her people!

After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Psyche’s adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
