Odie is definitely a good time Charlie and doesn’t quite know that he is as large as he is! He loves people and to be with them, he does for the most part like other dogs as long as they aren’t in his face or extremely alpha types – other than that he is a hunk of love!

His energy is endless, so if you love to walk, run, hike, and thing that involves energy this is your boy! He will need training to do many of these jobs, as he is still a puppy, even though he does not look it! He is incredibly smart and is a fast learner! Odie’s biggest vice is cats – he hates them and has very high prey drive. If you are a cat person he cannot co-habitat with them, otherwise he is a happy boy, that just want to be your buddy!

If you are interested in adopting Odie, visit our website and download the application: http://www.nehoularescue.com/adoption-application.html Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Odie’s adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
