Here's what the humans have to say about me:
June is a beautiful, distinguished older gal who is looking for a family to call her own. She’s approximately 9 years old and weighs 48 pounds. June found herself in on of our local shelters after wandering on the streets. No one ever came toward to claim her, so we sprung her from the shelter.
June is great with everyone. She’s a sweet, sweet girl who just wants to spend her days with her human. She prefers to eat her food and treats separately from other animals, but otherwise would prefer to be in the company of others. June prefers to sleep in a dog bed in her humans room. She will follow you step for step around the house —- she doesn’t like being alone. She does have a bit of separation anxiety, but with patience, we expect that to get better. June just needs to know she’s in a safe place.
Even though she’s 9, June still loves to play with toys. She’ll even play fetch! June does great in the house. She’s housebroken and doesn’t chew things. As far as car rides go, they make her extremely nervous. She’s more of a home body. June does fine on leash.
