Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Olsen and his 3 siblings were found surviving outdoors with their momma. Kind humans were feeding them and giving them shelter in a shed before coming into our care. He has taken some time to trust humans and still has moments where he's fearful and will hiss. He is the 'big brother' to all his litter mates and keeps everyone in line. He enjoys a good game of chase and wrestle, and will tolerate cuddles and even purr. He's not been exposed to children or dogs, but would be fine with proper introductions.
He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and will come with a voucher for his neuter at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the neuter surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!
An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!
