Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they have been adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster home in TX. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org

My first name is Patty, last name is Cake. Ok, I know what your thinking...my name sounds just a little like a child's nursery rhyme about a baker and a pan...purely coincidental, I can assure you :)

Foster Mum took up baking during the pandemic and it is spilling over into all aspects of her life!!! But, I gotta' admit, it is kinda' a catchy name!!

I am a 4 month old Labrador Retriever/Blue Lacey blend. I gots the long silky ears and super sleek and smooth coat of the beautiful Texas state dog (Blue Lacey) and the galoofy, fun loving and affectionate personality of the Western World's most popular dog, the beloved Labrador Retriever. What a winning combination!! Winner winner, chicken dinner...Yummy, that makes me start to get hungry...a chicken dinner right about now would be pretty tasty....but, I digress!!

I am going to be a very mediumish sized doggie, inheriting my size from the Blue Lacey. Pawsibily be around 40 pounds when fully growed.

I love the water and our "Puppy Pack" goes for an off leash walk everyday down to the river to splash around. It is quite an excursion to observe; 9 puppies of varying sizes following behind our Foster Papa all the way to the river!! Nobody breaks formation and we all stay with our Papa!!

I also love to get snuggles, kisses, and to lie next to Foster Mum when we are watching TV!!
