My story

Meet Bert!

Bert is quite the unique character. It is really difficult to put his personality into words, but we will try.

Bert is fearless and also quite small. He’s not afraid to climb to the highest heights or pick fights with the biggest foster siblings, but he does all this while barely weighing 2lbs at roughly 12 weeks old.

He is a talker and isn’t afraid to tell you what’s on his mind. He loooooves to cuddle. He’ll morph into a limp little noodle when you hold him and give him pets. He really cannot get enough of the attention.

He still looks a bit like an old grandpa, but he’s still growing into his giant head. Eventually his body will catch up and he’ll be a normal little dude (well, he’ll look normal, his personality is here to stay).

In a perfect world, we would find a home for Hemingway, Ernest AND Bert together. They have become quite the little trio. However, we are realistic and know that 3 kittens might be too much for most families.

So we are looking for a home with a playful & gentle cat for Bert to befriend. Bert is exceptional with other cats, dogs & humans of any variety.

Bert is up for pre-adoption OR foster to adopt only (if you live within 30 minutes of Seneca, SC). We are currently waiting for a neuter surgery date.

*All Miss Dixie's Kittens are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All kittens are adopted as pairs or into homes with another playful resident cat.
