Hi, I’m Frieda! I am a 10-month-old German Shepard. I came here from a partner shelter where I'd landed as a stray.
I am an affectionate, very active and playful girl. I’m looking for an active family who would give me plenty of exercise and the training I need. I walk okay on a leash, but could brush up on my manners. I am also learning to not jump up on people when I’m excited.
In the play yard here, I really enjoy fetch and playing with other toys. You’ll notice I’ll frequently take breaks to check up on you and get a few pets before returning to my play! I am fully of personality, and will certainly steal your heart. I will likely bond closely with my family and become very loyal. I am seeking a home with no children under 10.
When it comes to other animals, I seem to get along with male dogs well, but I can be very picky about other female dogs. I have high prey drive and have tried to chase cats in the past. I am seeking a home free of felines and small animals (including poultry/fowl).
I am spayed, up to date on my DAPP and rabies vaccines, tested negative for heartworm and am microchipped, too. My adoption fee is $200 (+$20 dog license fee if living within Jefferson County).

We do not ship animals, and due to COVID and border issues cannot adopt to Canada at this time.
