My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tip is a 3 month old, Torti, short hair. Her markings are beautiful and so unique. Looking at her markings, it's like she has blotches of orange tabby, like her ginger littermates, mixed with black. Tip got her name for the cutest orange tip at the end of her black tail. Like most tortis, she has slight sass, but it only comes out when protecting her siblings from new situations. When we had them at the vet, new people, dogs barking, kittens were scared but Tip was out front in the carrier protecting her siblings, who were hiding behind her, with her fierce little hiss. Tip is a social, little purr machine, who likes to lay with you, though not always on you. Tip loves to play & sleep with her siblings and must be adopted with one of them, under our kitten/companion cat policy. They will do best together, as companions to play and socialize with. Tip would be great for any home, having been raised with cat-savvy dogs, kids, and other cats.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, the adoption fee is $200. Tip is currently in his foster home in Austin, and will be ready and waiting for you.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.

Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.

YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
