What you see is what you get. This 3 year old stunner is a just a doll .... inside and out.
An affectionate, happy and playful girl, Lovely Lucy is super sweet and social. You would never know she was found on the streets of Cairo. Clearly, she had a home but like so many pets in Egypt, when their family gets tired of them, they, literally, just put them out onto the streets to fend for themselves. Not having any clue about street life, which is extraordinarily harsh in Egypt, this friendly girl would never have survived.
Intelligent and communicative, Lucy loves to give and receive attention. She is a lover of humans not cats and is best suited to an only cat household.
She is energetic and entertaining. She adores spending time with her human family whether it is chasing a ball, playing with a string toy or hanging out with you watching TV.
She is fine with children 8+ as long as they are not hyper around her, are kind, gentle and respectful (i.e. not tail pulling or playing rough).
NOTE: We will not respond to any inquiries related to allergies. We cannot guarantee any cat is hypoallergenic. Nobody can. It is impossible to guarantee an animal is hypoallergenic, be it a purebred or a mixed breed regardless of what anyone says. And we would never put our pets through a trial period to 'test' it out. This is completely contrary to our mission.
International Adoption Fee: $750 (includes flight and travel fees)
PINK’s adoption fee is determined on a cost-recovery basis which includes the cat’s vetting (which varies for each animal depending on the situation and circumstance of their rescue), microchip, up to date shots, de-worming, de-fleaing, spay/neuter, all travel and flight costs, government mandated fees (in Egypt and Canada) and the international carriers they flew to Canada in.
Because the animals come from abroad, there are many more costs involved.
Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and dogs on the streets of Egypt as we can. The fee you pay helps the Egyptian rescues recover their costs. Not only are you saving this animal's life, you are also helping to save another animal's life because the pet you just brought home has now opened up a space for the rescues in Egypt to offer to another animal in need.
