Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WALLY
This senior (10 year old) sweet boy was going to be euthanized because "we think he has mouth cancer." They didn't know. They didn't do any vet care for him.
Instead, he had infected teeth and lower jaw to the point he is now toothless and the infection even destroyed the bone in his lower jaw (believe me, he eats just fine.
Wally is in pretty good overall condition. We include "special needs" as because of his teeth and lower jaw. It even destroyed the majority of his lower jaw (we do have a photo of the remaining teeth that were pulled). He still prefers small breed/small bite crunchies, but loves his soft food on a plate so he can more easily lick it up. Wally also tested positive for Lyme disorder. He was treated with 30 days of doxycycline.
Wally would love to cuddle with his very own person. He enjoys sleeping with his foster mom (sometimes in blankets, sometimes not 🙂. He gets along with the other small breed fosters - though he is a senior so sleeps a little longer and deeper so when the jump around him it surprises him. He also has no problem with the cats in the home.
Wally will go to the door if he has to potty, but will also use potty pads. He's done very well at tagging along with his foster while she works in the yard. He is a little hard of hearing, but not too bad. He's got a quiet, but solid little bark that is typically saying "my turn for attention, please."
We always review applications with the best interest of the dog in mind - and that will be even more closely reviewed in Wally's case.
Please complete the online application. Once we have found who we believe will be the right home for him, we will contact that adopter.
