Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is an energetic girl! Her foster begs your forgiveness for the fuzzy photos, but they were playing so well. :)
A four-year-old rat terrier (mix?), Lucy is potty pad trained, she will often go to door to let you know, but she needs a routine. She is friendly and sweet - though it may take her a couple of days to warm up. She loves to snuggle under a blanket on the couch or bed with her person - though if she's sleeping soundly, she may startle easily if touched.
She gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in foster...from the 3.5# yorkie to the 100# newfoundland. She is loving playing with the terrier puppies in foster with her right now. She does well with the ADULT cats in the home, but she MUST NOT be in a home with small kittens or other small animals.
She believes sneaking out and running down yard is an excuse to go for a car ride - she needs a securely fenced yard and/or a dedicated leash-walking partner. ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRIC FENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED - She was traumatized by this at previous owner.
She is not a fan of having her nails trimmed or vaccinations - her nails were trimmed on 6/26/2021.
Lucy is up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm and tick-borne illnesses.
Please complete our online application if you believe your family is the right fit for her. A volunteer will review applications and contact the family they believe is best for Lucy.
