My story

Meet Sally!

When you think of tortishell cats, usually the term "tortitude" comes to mind... well Sally is the opposite of that. She wants to be your best friend and will do everything she possibly can to stay by your side at all times.

Sally is one of the luckiest kittens in our rescue. She somehow found herself in a car engine, transported roughly 8 miles and was somehow unharmed. She has been nothing but grateful since coming to the rescue.

Sally is sweet, loving, playful, affectionate & independent. She loves to play with her other foster kittens, but also loves her alone time with her human. He is still getting used to dogs, but would, with time, be okay living in a home with dogs.

Her clam demeanor would make her a good candidate for a home with kids 5+ years old. She needs a home with another playful cat.

Sally is roughly 12 weeks old and is up for pre-adoption only. She will be ready to go to her forever home in late June.

*All Miss Dixie's Kittens are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All kittens are adopted as pairs or into homes with another playful resident cat.
